There are six Carrier Performance™ heat pumps available on the market. The have heat pumps with Intelisense™ technology built-in, compact crossover units and a standard heat pump without the bells and whistles.
The 2-stage heat pumps, for all sizes are ENERGY STAR® certified. The other models are also ENERGY STAR® certified on select sizes. They come with enhanced humidity and comfort features.

As of October 2019, there was a recall on certain models of Carrier and Bryant Ductless heat pumps 1.5-ton multi-zone, 4-ton multi-zone and 4-ton single–zone ductless heat pump outdoor units from Health Canada. The fan motor can fail, posing a fire hazard. Models affected by the consumer recall:
